WORLD-CLASS SPORT FISHING
The waters around Tofino offer year-round saltwater fishing adventures. The pristine waters of Clayoquot Sound provide world-class salmon, steelhead and trout fishing from April through September. BOATING AND BEAR WATCHING
Boat cruising is a great way to experience the waters around Tofino and Clayoquot Sound. The entire West Coast of Vancouver Island is home to many Black Bear that are best viewed from the comfort of a boat tour through the inlets of Clayoquot Sound. Seeing Black Bear in their natural habitat is a wonderful experience.

WHALE WATCHING
From February through May each year, approximately twenty thousand Gray whales pass through the nutrient-rich waters surrounding Tofino during their annual northern migration. Resident Gray whales can also be seen from January until October. Traveling Orcas (Killer whales), Minke whales and Humpback whales are also spotted during this time.

HIKING
With the ability to hike through ancient temperate rain forests to the sea, Tofino offers a unique and memorable experience for those who explore the area on foot. Pacific Rim National Park Reserve has numerous interpretive trails with boardwalks for easy access. And the seven-phase Wild Pacific Trail that skirts rugged cliffs and shoreline is not to be missed. Long stretches of sandy beach are ideal for strollers and joggers alike.
